Terms of Service
Last updated May 5, 2026
These terms cover your use of Polymath Daily — the website at polymath-daily.com, the daily lesson newsletter, and any related apps ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. They're written in plain English on purpose; if anything's unclear, email sam@polymath-daily.com.
The Service
Polymath Daily publishes one short educational lesson per weekday. The lessons are free to read on the website and free to receive by email. That's the whole product, today.
We may change the Service over time — content, features, schedule, or design. We may also discontinue it. Material changes get communicated to subscribers in advance when reasonably possible.
Your account
You don't need an account to read lessons. You can subscribe to the email with just an address; you can also create an account (via email link, Google, or Apple) to save reading progress and streaks across devices.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the email address you give us and for keeping your sign-in method secure. We honor account deletion requests promptly — see our Privacy page.
Acceptable use
Read, learn, share. Don't:
• scrape the site or otherwise pull content programmatically without permission
• re-publish lessons in full elsewhere without attribution and a link back; reasonable quoting and excerpting is fine
• try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service
• use the Service to harass others or in violation of any law
We may suspend or terminate access if you do any of these.
Content & intellectual property
Lesson text and design are owned by Polymath Daily. You may quote and share lessons with attribution. Hero images come from public-domain or openly-licensed sources (typically Wikimedia Commons); each lesson lists its image attributions. The brand name, logo, and identity belong to us.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided as-is. Lessons are educational content, not professional advice — financial, medical, legal, scientific, or otherwise. Treat them as a starting point for understanding, not the last word. We work to be accurate but don't guarantee that every lesson is perfect.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Polymath Daily is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months — which, since the Service is currently free, is zero.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time — unsubscribe from email, revoke push permission, or request account deletion. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or for other operational reasons.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes go to the courts there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes get a heads-up to subscribers before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept it.
